Did you know ...
* ... the most common mycosis is candidiasis? Although it
often proliferates in the vulvar and vaginal mucosa, it can be equally
well-grown in the intestine, mouth, and skin folds.
GOOD TO KNOW
The microscopic fungus responsible for yeast infection,
Candida albicans, is naturally present in our body (in the mouth, in the
digestive tract, in the genital apparatus) without causing any alarming
symptoms. But after a disturbance, it happens that these mushrooms begin to
proliferate, becoming pathogenic. Antibiotics, for example, kill good bacteria
that control the growth of fungi. Most women experience a yeast infection at
least once in their lives. The infection can affect the vagina and / or the
vulva. It is manifested by itching, redness, swelling of the affected area and
dense white whites.
In men, an inflammation of the foreskin can signal the
presence of a yeast infection. During treatment, it is preferable to
discontinue sexual contacts.
Generally, yeast infections are easily treated with remedies
such as ointments or antifungal eggs. But no matter what remedy, you can
accompany them with other measures to speed up healing and prevent relapses.
Treatment of yeast infection
Before you start any treatment, you need to be sure you have
a vaginal (and / or vulvar) mycoses and not a urinary infection or a bacterial
disorder. If necessary, consult a family doctor or a gynecologist.
* The first measure consists of the local application of an
ointment or an antifungal egg, which you can obtain from the pharmacy without a
prescription (ask for a pharmacist's advice).
* Also try a wash - with rubber breeze - with water and
vinegar. Mix two tablespoons of white vinegar with one liter of water to obtain
a slightly acidic solution, a hostile environment for mushrooms. Limit the
treatment to two days, in the morning and in the evening, and do it only if
you're sure it's yeast infection. By using it abusively, you will only
eliminate the "good" bacteria that protect the body from infections.
* Dilute a cup of sea salt in warm water from the tub. If
this bath soothes itching and pain, do not hesitate to repeat the operation
every day. Salty water allows - among other things - rapid healing.

Antiseptic virtues of garlic
* Eat a few cloves of garlic daily, whose antifungal
properties are perfectly indicated for candidiasis. Raw garlic is extremely
effective. If the prospect of chewing the whole will repel it, press it and
incorporate it into a salad or a sauce.
* There are therapists who recommend the introduction into
the vagina of a garlic cloth wrapped in gauze, but most women prefer to treat
with an antifungal cream, the contact with the garlic can be painful.
Bacteria to fight mushrooms
* Consume fermented milk (natural and unsweetened) or lactic
ferments. It contains a bacterium called Lactobacillus acidophilus, which
limits the proliferation of vaginal and intestinal fungi.
* Yogurt or locally applied fermented milk can also soothe
and accelerate healing. Insert it into a liquid vaginal swab.
Other antifungal treatments
* Scientific studies have shown that cinnamon possesses
powerful antifungal virtues. German researchers say a toilet paper impregnated
with cinnamon would allow for total elimination of yeast infection. Put 4
liters of water on the fire and add 8 bars of cinnamon torn pieces. Leave to
boil for about 5 minutes, take the water from the fire and let it
"rest" for about 45 minutes. Some therapists suggest using this
solution for vaginal care (using a rubber pump). Others say it is enough to
drink decoction with cinnamon to cure mycosis.
* To help your body fight the infection, take one Echinacea
capsule (200 mg) three times a day or the contents of a echinacea tincture
pipette diluted in half a cup of water four times a day .

Better prevent than heal
* Sleep without underwear, in long night shirts. Because the yeast
infection multiplies in warm and humid environments, the smoother the body, the
less likely these microorganisms are to proliferate.
* During the day, wear cotton wool (not too tight) that
allows better ventilation than synthetic materials.
* For the same reason, avoid strapping pants.
* Discard deodorants and intimate showers. The chemical
products contain risk to alter sensitive vaginal flora, leaving free field for
the proliferation of yeast.
* Avoid also the fragrant talcum powder. In some women, it
irritates the skin. However, irritation increases the risk of yeast infection.
* Go to the toilet after sexual intercourse. The vaginal
mucus is normally slightly acidic, but the sperm, rather alkaline, provides a
pleasant environment for the growth of mushrooms. Circulation of urine
contributes to the restoration of a hostile environment of mycoses.
* This infection is sexually transmitted and men may also be
affected. If you or your partner suffer from a genital mycelium, use the condom
until healing.
* Contrary to a widely held view, a regimen rich in
sugars or carbohydrates does not increase the risk of a yeast infection.
Other remedies
Vaginal plant
instillations
A concentrated infusion of thyme, rosemary and sage is a very
powerful remedy against Candida albicans infection. It has antibacterial
properties that inhibit fungal proliferation and calms mucosal irritation.
Sage
Recipe: 3 teaspoons of dry thyme, one teaspoon of rosemary
and one teaspoon of sage are lit up with two cups of boiling water. Allow to
infuse for 20 minutes, sneeze, then insert into the vagina with a needleless
needle or a rubber swab. Vaginal instillations are done twice a day.
White nettle
infusion
Spread a tablespoon of dead white nettle with 250 ml of
boiling water. Allow 10 minutes to infuse, then sneeze. Drink a cup of tea
after each meal, three times a day.
Chamomile
Boil one liter of water and when it boils, lightly sprinkle 3
tablespoons of chamomile flowers. Squeeze and pour the infusion into the water
in the tub (not to exceed 38 degrees). There are daily baths, with a duration
of 15 minutes, until the pain disappears.
Oak bark tea
Pour 3-4 tablespoons of dried oak bark with 1 liter of
boiling water. Allow to infuse 10 minutes, then squeeze. Tea can be used both
internally (drinking several mids distributed over a day) as well as vaginal
washings, once a day, preferably in the evening.
